Bandar Khiran

Day 21
So, after relaunching, we headed East from Muscat to a sheltered bay about 10nm down the coastline. Since it was a weekend, there were a few other  boats, but they were  quiet and hospitable. One guy pitched up on a jet ski, and offered us a bowl of watermelons, and asked if there was anything else he could do for us.  Kiera, of course,  asked if she could have a go on his jet ski, and disappeared with him.
So that night we had dinner on his boat, which was really a gin palace without the gin.  We sort of knew this boat staff since we’d been moored next to him in Bandar Khiran.  But we didn’t know him,  so we asked the captain what the guy’s name was. The answer was ‘your excellency’. And he was,  indeed,  a excellent host.
