Entertaining the Locals

June 7, 2013

We have been very well looked after by all here in Mussaneh, so we took some of our friends out for a sail today, since it was a public holiday weekend. Maurad lives in the apartments here at Millenium, so we took him along with his son Shams, and Daniel (whos the ‘Big Boss’ here) brought the food for the bbq. we planned on a few hours during his lunch break, but ended up staying out the whole day, and taught Shams the awesome sport of Kiera Surfing, a game which Kiera invented back in her Kuwait days. It wasn’t easy at 5 knots!
