Dink Lesson No1

September 27, 2013

I can drive a 43ft sailing yacht. I can drive a 30ft twin 150 dive boat. I can even drive the Cat Club’s 15ft rescue boat. But could I drive our new 8ft rubber duck with its even newer 5hp engine?
I can paddle it, I know that much. But drive it with the new engine? I was pretty scared,  since the dink is only rated for 4hp, but it turned out to be ok after all.

I can start it, drive it, reverse it, turn it and park it at the end! It’s cute! Just waiting for some wind and waves now to try it in rougher conditions.
Oh, and I am not happy with Marc’s obsession with my butt. He didn’t take even one photo of me when I was facing his way…
